Community Health Systems Supervisor Outpatient Surgery Center in Bentonville, Arkansas
Nursing supervisor is the immediate leader for a specific nursing unit. Responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The nursing supervisor plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and evaluates the day to day unit activities. The nursing is responsible for patient care, actions and outcomes of the unit. The nursing supervisor collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and safe patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. He/she is responsible for the education of and compliance with the national patient Safety Goals and NHS policies, practices and protocols. The nursing supervisor delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
Two years clinical RN experience
Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Arkansas in accordance with the Arkansas Nursing Board Practice Act.; current American Heart Association BLS; current ACLS and PALS or acquired within the first 90 days of employment
