Community Health Systems Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) in Clarksville, Tennessee


The Ultrasound Technologists directly performsdiagnostic ultrasound procedures. Ultrasound Technologist must possess a good working knowledge andprofessional imaging skills to assure quality management of all patients. The responsibilities include but are notlimited to quality control, ultrasound safety and the adherence to all American College of Radiology guidelines. The position requires excellent positioning,communication, organizational, problem solving and leadership skills.


Education / License /Certification:

  • Graduate of an approved school of radiology

  • Advanced level registry or certification in the Sonography arena (American Registryof Radiological Technologist - ARRT or ARDMS) required

  • New Graduate must obtain their certification within 6 months of hire

Experience/ Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience

  • Attention to detail and concentration

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changingenvironment
