Community Health Systems Bio Med Technician in Cleveland, Tennessee


Performs duties assigned by the Supervisor in accordance with current policies and procedures with minimal supervision and according to manufacturer s recommendations. These duties include performing preventive maintenance, safety test, incoming inspection, installation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, documentation, staff training and in-services on assigned patient care equipment. Performs all other duties assigned.


Associate s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, or equivalent

-Possession of a valid Driver s License

-Certification by the International Certification Commission is preferred

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting

-Ability to be "on call" during after-hours, weekends and/or holidays required
