Community Health Systems App Systems Analyst in Franklin, Tennessee

The HPF Product Support team maintains the legal electronic health record for CHS hospitals using the McKesson Patient Folder product. The Application Systems Analyst will work in a fast paced environment requiring skills in application and workflow design, application support, project management and documentation. Responsibilities may include creating user roles, working break/fix incidents, driving operational initiatives by managing small projects and/or assisting with deploying the product to new locations. The application analyst works closely with other Information Systems and Information Technology teams, vendors, business partners and hospital staff.
Assess, recommends, and implements IS business needs through research, analysis and benchmarking requirements to meet successful solutions.
Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of the tool through training, testing, system monitoring, and problem resolution.
Ensures all IS work and development complies with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
Collaborates with CHS corporate and hospital Information Systems (IS) business partners and the corporate HIIM executive leadership stakeholders.
Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation.
Participates in all aspects of product support including monitoring, troubleshooting, break/fix resolution, product upgrades, change requests, etc .
Rotating on call is required.
Bachelor s degree or 2 years of additional experience can be substituted for education.
Minimum of 3 years of Application Systems Analyst or similar.
Experience with workflow design, software support, project management, and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time.
Highly motivated, skilled in mult-tasking and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other Microsoft Office tools needed.
Detail-oriented and persistent in the collection of data.
Highly responsive and accountable.
SQL experience a plus
McKesson Patient Folder/OneContent experience a plus.
