CHSPSC, LLC seeks an Materials Management, Manager, Strategic Sourcing for its Franklin, TN,headquarters Materials Management team.

Summary:

Identify, define, and deliver contracting, supply, and vendor management strategies to support the overall departmental objectives for Strategic Sourcing. Strategic Sourcing functions focus on medical/other supplies, purchased service, IT, bulk and capital expense reduction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Lead categories in Strategic Sourcing to meet or exceed the planned category and/or department goals

•Learn and utilize CHS s 7 step process to create, review, amend, approve, finalize RFI, RFP, and Contract or pricing proposals

•Collaborate with business owners to manage company/facility contract expiration dates

•Draft and conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues, facilitate pricing discussions, incorporate measureable KPI s and obtain leadership approval in a timely manner

•Demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently

•Extract data to determine profitability and charge maximization of clinical procedures and supplies

•Provide education and training as needed to the hospital Materials Managers and/or corporate staff

•Work with Corporate Clinical teams to solicit and promote best practices and supply standardization

•Complete special projects as assigned by department, division, facility C-Suite, and/or corporate senior leadership

•Data analytics skills required for the strategic sourcing process including RFI, RFP, strategy development, and fact based negotiations

•Identify, communicate, execute savings opportunities; track savings thereafter

•Collaborate with other subject matter experts and key decision makers to develop data- driven metrics and strategies

•Ability to identify and solve problems; demonstrated understanding of acute healthcare setting

•Ability to manage internal and external communications across category team and would with key stakeholders (eg clinical, finance, operations, and legal)

•Contract management experience agreements working with key stakeholders; ability to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.

•Manage supplier performance and lead business reviews to include contract compliance, rebates, product, or/or service issues

•Achieve annual synergy savings targets for the company as identified by senior management

•Work with hospital C-Suite Teams on Implementation of Savings initiatives

•Work with Corporate Division Management Leadership regarding Savings Programs

•Strong verbal and written skills and ability to communicate complex data in a way that others can easily follow

Qualifications

Qualifications:

•Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field is preferred

•Experience in the Strategic Sourcing process preferred

•Experience in Healthcare, ideally clinical

•Healthcare data analytic background preferred

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint required.

•Experience with other database software (Essbase, Access, etc) preferred

•Experience with HPG/GPO, Insight, Medhost, Lawson and other MMIS

Education/Experience:

Education:

•A Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred

•Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of formal education in certain circumstances

Experience:

•Five to seven years of Materials Management experience at the Director level or higher is preferred

•Clinical experience a plus

•Corporate experience in a multi-hospital setting is preferred

•Lawson reporting tools a plus

•HPG/GPO reporting tools a plus
