Community Health Systems Sr App Systems Analyst in Franklin, Tennessee

The Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for providing IS project and program management leadership and analytical support. Senior Analysts are accountable for providing support to Projects and Programs in terms of managing, planning, and monitoring key projects from conception through implementation. They also assist in preparing various reports that cover forecast reports, budget status, and other Project and Program management related reports. This position closely interfaces with internal and external resource including business owners, end users, technical staff, consultants and vendors. The scope of work includes assisting with Project and Program Management work as directed by senior leadership.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field from a four-year college or university.
Four (4) years of experience in Project Management, with at least 2 of those years managing IS projects.
Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.
Known for effective leadership of project resources and project staff.
Passion for stakeholder and customer satisfaction by successfully planning and executing Projects and Programs.
Project Management methodology experience with Waterfall/PMBOK, Agile or Scrum is a plus.
Project related budget development and administration.
