Planning, directing, and evaluating the overall nursing careand functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift.

Coordinating the activities of the unit and direct, organize,and assign work to the nursing staff.

Assessing, monitoring, and educating the nursing staff onpatient care.

You will institute emergency procedures, as necessary,throughout your shift.

Also you will rely on your experience and judgment to planand accomplish goals, while performing a variety of tasks.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

You will work under general supervision, and typicallyreports to a supervisor and/or manager.
