Community Health Systems HR Recruiter/Generalist, FT, Days, Human Resources in Ponca City, Oklahoma
Manages, coordinates and implements specific human resources functions and programs, such as wage and salary, benefits, recruitment or employment practices. Reviews human resources documents and requests for compliance within established human resources laws, policies and procedures. Implements employment transactions and ensures the appropriate policies are followed. Manages recruitment process; posts open positions within the Taleo system, screens and interviews candidates, makes employment offers, performs background checks and new hire screenings and manages orientation process. Performs accurate administrative duties to ensure appropriate processing of personnel information. Other duties may include processing applications for employment, maintaining employee benefit records and personnel files, performing mathematical calculations and responding to general inquiries from employees and applicants. Responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing all employee records and information compilation and retrieval of personnel data, actions, and changes with appropriate confidentiality and timeliness. Assists with benefit procedures including employee enrollment, benefit audits, premium payout, and communication with employees on benefit and program changes. Responsible for specific program development, implementation and management (to include but not limited to: Recruitment, Benefits, FMLA, Worker s Comp, Award s Program). Assists director with program management and reporting.
Works directly with hospital department directors and supervisors to address Human Resources issues and assist with other employment matters.
Must observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of AHPC. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and AHPC. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs.

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources required; Masters Degree preferred. PHR or SPHR preferred. Desirable characteristics include 3-5 years Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must demonstrate a proficiency in written and verbal communication.
