Summary: Responsible for all aspects of insurancefollow up and collection activity.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

--{PS..2}2. --{PS..3}Identify issues or trending and provide suggestions for resolution.

--{PS..4}3. --{PS..5}Accurately and thoroughly documents the pertinent collection activityperformed.

--{PS..6}4. --{PS..7}Review the account information and necessary system applications todetermine the next appropriate work activity.

--{PS..8}5. --{PS..9}Verify claims adjudication utilizing appropriate resources andapplications.

--{PS..10}6. --{PS..11}Initiate telephone or letter contact to patients to obtain additionalinformation as needed.

--{PS..12}7. --{PS..13}Perform appropriate billing functions, including manual re-bills as wellas electronic submission to payers.

--{PS..14}8. --{PS..15}Edit claims to meet and satisfy billing compliance guidelines forelectronic submission.

--{PS..16}9. --{PS..17}Manage and maintain desk inventory, complete reports, and resolve highpriority and aged inventory.

--{PS..18}10. --{PS..19}Participate and attend meetings, training seminars and in-services todevelop job knowledge.
