Provides direct care to patients under direction and guidance of professional nursing personnel. Interacts with patients to promote therapeutic environment to enhance wellness. Develops relationships focusing on helping patients identify and learn effective ways of dealing with social pressures and personal limitations.


Education :

  • High School graduate or equivalent with basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple math like percentages, ratios, etc.

  • All applicants are required to submit an official high school transcript or GED certificate verifying their level of education at the time of their interview. This transcript must be in a SEALED envelope from the school or agency.


  • Prior experience in a similar setting requiring interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of patients with varying needs and must have basic patient care skills.

Certifications / Licenses:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
