Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a great attitude who is a dependable team player! Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first. We pride ourselves with promoting a team like environment and providing exceptional patient care. The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will care for a diverse patient population. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 4:1. The staff nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient populations. He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Prior critical care experience preferred, new graduates will be considered.
Current Texas Registered Nurse license; or eligible for immediate state license.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or ENPC required
