The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing care given to an assigned group of patients during specific periods of time, utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for providing quality patient care according to established patient standards and practice. Demonstrates behavior consistent with the professional nursing role.


Education: "Associates Degree in Nursing.


Experience: "Unit-specific experience or training as approved by Unit Director. Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Requires enthusiasm, initiative and the ability to work independently/cooperatively with other managers. Requires the ability to function effectively in fast paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and document care give in English. Requires the ability to effectively plan and organize. Must have knowledge and understanding of the entire aging process.



Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Arizona RN License. Current CPR required. ACLS required by completion of orientation and working independently in department.
