The Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Wound Care Center is an outpatient clinic that specializes in treating patients with chronic, slow- or non-healing wounds. Our multi-disciplinary panel of physicians specializes in podiatry, general surgery, plastic surgery and general medicine and offers our patients a well-rounded approach to wound healing.

Position Overview

We have a PRN position available for an experienced Registered Nurse in our Wound Care Clinic!


  • Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation

  • Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices

  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes


  • Minimum of an Associate s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in a Wound Care department

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas, or license with a compact state

  • American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire
