The Occupational Health Coordinator (OHC) directs and manages the administrative/ nursing components of the Occupational Medicine program to include interaction with Hospitals (especially ED), onsite occupational clinics, free standing occupational medicine clinics and industry.

Markets the occupational medicine program to industry and develops protocols and associated paperwork to satisfy industry needs and requirements.

The Occupational Health Coordinator will be responsible for developing a referral relationship to the Chester and Lancaster defined markets for the hospitals and clinics. In addition, the coordinator will coordinate one-to-one calls to educate and inform the referral sources of available occupational medicine services and the benefit to patients. The Coordinator will be a part of the occupational medicine delivery team that includes management, clinical and support team members. There will be extensive outside market development as well as the need for presentations and in-services to industries and other chamber members in both Chester and Lancaster markets. The Occupational Health Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a referral development model and assisting to meet the growth goals of the occupational medicine program.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program with current state of South Carolina nursing license. Prefer certification as Occupational Health Nurse Specialist and Certified Case Manager.

Experience: 3-5 years occupational medicine and preferably referral development and/or marketing administrative experience. Specialized training in OSHA record keeping, ergonomic and safety related safety hazards.

Licenses/Certificates: Licensed as registered nurse by the Board of Nursing of the State ofSouth Carolina. CPR certified .
