This position is responsible for the coordination of patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The position is responsible for prescribing, delegating and evaluating the holistic nursing care rendered. As a professional, this position is responsible to contribute to the smooth operation of the nursing unit and for development of self and others by being a role model and providing leadership.
Education / License / Certification:
Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or equivalent in an allied health field
Currently licensed in the State of Tennessee or compact State as a Registered Nurse or Current Registry with Cardiovascular Credentialing International, and in good standing.
BLS and ACLS certification required
One year of experience in a Non-Invasive Cardiology Department or previous Cath Lab experience, preferred
Professional interpersonal skills
Analytical skills necessary to prepare patient plans of care, implement effective nursing care and develop solutions to problems concerning patient's mental or physical well-being
Attention to detal and concentration
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
