Community Health Systems Training Specialist in Easton, Pennsylvania

Description:

Responsible for training new hires and current staff in all phases of the Revenue Cycle process. Creating course and instructional materials related to training programs, including visual aids, job aides, training exercises, and reference materials

  1. Trains new hires and existing staff on systems, processes, and workflow

2.Maintains and creates educational materials. Ensures all manuals, job aides, scenarios are up to date as new information is received.

3.Demonstrate superb presentation, facilitation, and communication skills as demonstrated through observation and survey results.

4.Works in partnership with other departments regarding resolution of issues and concerns.

  1. Identifies areas of improvement in respect to training within the BSSC. This is accomplished by spending quality time in each department.

  2. Performs additional tasks as assigned with a positive attitude.

  3. Promote teamwork within departments and the BSSC as a whole.

  4. Follows chain of command when questions/issues arise.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree preferred or related experience

Experience: Desirable characteristics include two years experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Excellent presentation skills, time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with the following software systems; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
