Community Health Systems Technical Analyst in Fort Smith, Arkansas


Summary: The IT Technical Analyst position will support ourShared Services Center and client hospitals around the country for a widevariety of business-critical hardware systems by providing top-notch support toour IT infrastructure and associate users.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: (List in order of importance or percentage of timespent on the particular responsibility. High to Low)

--{PS..2}1. --{PS..3}Determinebarriers and formulate options and/or needs to establish priorities in meeting technicalsupport goals and service level expectations. (30%)

--{PS..4}2. --{PS..5}Providetroubleshooting and problem resolution for Windows 7 Pro based systems , printers, andother peripherals and maintain functional documentation of system issues. (20%)

--{PS..8}3. --{PS..9}Developand maintain a broad knowledge ofbusiness-critical user applications used as the backbone of the Revenue Cycleat Shared Services Center and the hospitals we support. (20%)

--{PS..10}4. --{PS..11}Maintainstrong understanding of a client/server enterprise environment and useknowledge to make operational and strategic recommendations to achieve IT andShared Services Center goals. (10%)

--{PS..12}5. --{PS..13}Communicatewith corporate IT in a manner that will move our Infrastructure Team forward inproblem and incident resolution. (10%)

--{PS..14}6. --{PS..15}ProvideNetwork Security support and assist with implementation and/or adherence to localand corporate security policies and procedures. (10%)





Required Education: Associates Degree in Information Technologyor Equivalent

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Sciencein Information Technology or Equivalent

Required Experience: 0-1 years of supportingan enterprise workstation environment

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of supportingan enterprise workstation environment

RequiredLicense/Registration/Certification: None

PreferredLicense/Registration/Certification: Microsoft MTA or MCSA, A ComputerSkills Required: Typingproficiency, basic understanding of networking (client/server/cabling, etc.),MS Office Suite of applications

PhysicalDemands: Must beable to lift 20-25lbs throughout the day.
