Community Health Systems Technical Analyst in Fort Smith, Arkansas

Summary: The IT Technical Analyst position will support our Shared Services Center and client hospitals around the country for a wide variety of business-critical hardware systems by providing top-notch support to our IT infrastructure and associate users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (List in order of importance or percentage of time spent on the particular responsibility. High to Low)

  1. --{PS..0}Determine barriers and formulate options and/or needs to establish priorities in meeting technical support goals and service level expectations. (30)

  2. --{PS..1}Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution for Windows 7 Pro based systems , printers, and other peripherals and maintain functional documentation of system issues. (20)

  3. --{PS..2}Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of business-critical user applications used as the backbone of the Revenue Cycle at Shared Services Center and the hospitals we support. (20)

  4. --{PS..3}Maintain strong understanding of a client/server enterprise environment and use knowledge to make operational and strategic recommendations to achieve IT and Shared Services Center goals. (10)

  5. --{PS..4}Communicate with corporate IT in a manner that will move our Infrastructure Team forward in problem and incident resolution. (10)

  6. --{PS..5}Provide Network Security support and assist with implementation and/or adherence to local and corporate security policies and procedures. (10)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required Education: Associates Degree in Information Technology or Equivalent

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Equivalent

Required Experience: 0-1 years of supporting an enterprise workstation environment

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of supporting an enterprise workstation environment

Required License/Registration/Certification: None

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Microsoft MTA or MCSA, A

Computer Skills Required: Typing proficiency, basic understanding of networking (client/server/cabling, etc.), MS Office Suite of applications

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 20-25lbs throughout the day.
