CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Senior Application Systems Analyst for its Franklin, TN, headquarters Clinicals team.
This position is primarily responsible for supporting Corporate HIIM (HealthInformation Informatics Management) applications as it relates to day to daysupport and monitoring, testing, server patches and release updates. Thisposition is an IS analyst support role which encompasses troubleshooting to resolveapplication system issues and requires advanced knowledge of systems analysisto provide a high level support and maintaining documentation of softwareapplications. The team works incoordination with the Corporate HIIM business partners, vendors, and other CHSteams to ensure CHS corporate standards are met across the CHSfacilities.
Job Duties andResponsibilities:
Provide advanced user support and problem resolution of multiple applications to include transcription applications (MModal and Nuance), 3M coding and reimbursement, abstracting applications, and LHR applications (Horizon Patient Folder and McKesson Patient Folder) and Medhost
Proactively perform daily system monitoring and improve process for automation
Demonstrate an expertise in all application participate in release updates, server patching and updates, and quality assurance testing
Function as a solid team member of application support with recommendations for process improvement, create and maintain documentation, cross-train for knowledge transfer, and demonstrate an expertise in all applications supported.
Act as a liaison between CHS facilities, corporate HIIM, other CHS teams, and vendors to resolve problems and escalated issues
Maintain a high degree of communication, cooperation, and coordination with other teams to provide timely resolution of issues and deliver excellent customer service
Strong work ethic, flexible, dependable, and available to provide after hours and weekend support on a rotational basis
Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver tangible results
Maintain performance standards with meeting targets for both incidents and tasks
Perform other miscellaneous initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor s degree or 4 years of experience in related field can be substituted for education
Strong technical background in SQL Server, cold feeds, and HL7 interfaces
Transcription and coding experience desired
MModal, Nuance, and 3M360 experience preferred
Medhost and HPF (Horizon Patient Folder/MPF (McKesson Patient Folder) a plus
Strong customer service skills with the drive to meet/exceed customer needs
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Solution oriented individual demonstrating critical thinking and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt and work effectively in a continuously changing environment
