POSITION SUMMARY:

VP of IS Customer Service Operations and Support, willreport directly to the CIO and works in close partnership with other members ofthe IT Leadership Team. Acustomer-centric, collaborative approach to service and support is an essentialcomponent of success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build strong customer / stakeholder relationshipswith IS teams, Security, business leaders, division leaders, facilities andthird-party service providers.

• Key areas of focus include the creation andimplementation of the customer service strategy which leverages the use ofmultiple providers, continued maturation of core ITIL processes, along withdeveloping the organizational capacity and talent needed to deliver on theplans of the organization

• Planning, project management and implementationleadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and servicequality improvement.

• --{PS..0}Implement technology services that are designed andbuilt by the engineering team for optimal operational results

• Drive optimum service levels based on businessrequirements and architecture capability.

• Oversee major incident procedure andresponse team

• Create a continuous improvement culture. Evolveoperational practices with the industry and drive efficiency and effectivenessimprovements

• Develops the service and technology managementcapabilities of the organization, managing and developing existing staff,recruitment, and ensure exceptional delivery of service.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduate degree or bachelor-s degree plus equivalent experience, in business or a science (computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, clinical discipline, etc.).EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Nine to fifteen years combined experience in large application systems deployment and management, preferably in a multi-hospital and/or medical center setting or eight years as a manager in a similar setting. Must possess strong skills in writing, speaking and dealing with all levels of people. Should demonstrate line experience in preparation and control of budgets, personnel administration, contractor management and direction of others.JOB KNOWLEDGE: Systems Analysis, Design and Development, Programming Skills and Concepts, Budget Review and Policy Administration Project Management, Network and Server Concepts, Time and Staff Management, Development Methodologies for Financial Business Systems and Clinical Support Systems, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Coordination of Support Functions, Business Modeling, Goals and Objectives of the Corporation and Hospitals, Process Improvement
