You will be assistingin the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
Collecting and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
Also you will measure the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Also a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically you will report to a manager or head of a unit/department.

An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is required.
Prefer a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the NBRC.
BLS Healthcare Provider required.
You will need to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
