Community Health Systems Sup Help Desk & Training - La Porte - Full Time, Days in La Porte, Indiana
The Supervisor Help Desk & Training is responsible for assessing and guiding day to day functions of the Technical Support Group, including the PC Technicians and Help Desk Analysts. including demonstrating leadership, providing guidance, completing employee assessments, and assisting Director with goal building. This includes the responsibility of managing all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user help requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of Help Desk functions. Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of help desk staff training procedures and policies. Design and enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures. The Help Desk Supervisor will also contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users at the desktop level when needed.
Identify, recommend, develop, and implement end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency. Oversee development and dissemination of help sheets, usage guides, and FAQ lists for end users.
Design and enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures. Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Education: E quivalent education / experience in Information Systems, Informatics or leadership. Associates degree I Bachelor's Degree preferred, commensurate experience accepted.
Experience with hospital information systems desirable.
