Community Health Systems Maintenance Engineer II FT in Lake Wales, Florida

Description:

Performrepairs to non- clinical equipment and physical plant. Performs painting, carpentry, plumbing andmechanical work as needed under supervision of qualified supervisor. Performassigned work in a professional, cost effective manner, making suggestions forimprovements and implementing changes as conditions dictate or as requested bysuperiors. Maintain compliance withexisting approved policies, procedures and standards established by thedepartment, the hospital and the Corporation. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience:

Must be able to make minor repairs to non-clinical equipment, must have the ability to initiate and complete repairs without constant supervision, must have a valid drivers license, must have knowledge of proper paint, varnish, stain, etc., application including cleanup and disposal of such materials.

Must have knowledge of materials and methods in accomplishing minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work. Also needs a working knowledge of wall covering installation and floor covering installing.
