Community Health Systems Risk Mgmt Coord and Quality Specialist in Live Oak, Florida
The Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Chief Quality Officer in administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis, including managing and analyzing risk management data, facilitating systems analysis to promote and improve patient safety, conducting and facilitating risk management educational programs based upon availability and identified needs, and compliance with The Joint Commission's standards relating to risk management and patient safety.
Bachelor Degree in health related course of studies. Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred. Completion of a Certification Program for Health Care Risk Managers preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida required. Licensed Health Care Risk Manager preferred. Experience in health care risk management and/or quality management at least 2 years in an acute care hospital. Proven leadership and managerial skills.Greater than 2 years experience in risk management in an acute care hospital preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years hospital clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing and/or critical care areas preferred. Lead role in project management preferred.
