Community Health Systems HVU RN Full Time Nights in Longview, Texas


Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Responsible for compliance with standards/policies during assigned shift. Responsible for supervising, assigning and directing activities of all licensed and unlicensed caregivers and support staff during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources. Ensures that Longview Regional's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation.


Current Texas RN License

Current American Heart Association BLS

American Heart Association ACLS within 9 months of hire or transfer

Critical Care Level 1 obtained within 6 months of hire

Advanced certifications and training in critical care nursing preferred

Previous cardiac/telemetry preferred

Dysrhythmia interpretation course preferred
