Community Health Systems User Access/Security Admin Rep 3 in Nashville, Tennessee
Summary: Creates, maintains and audits CHS end users accessaccounts in Athena Collector, Communicator and Clinicals in accordance with CHSpolicy and defined standards.
Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities: Include the following . Other duties may be assigned.
Creates andmaintenances CHS end user access accounts in Athena Collector, Communicator andClinicals. CHS end users includepractice, hospital, corporate office, PPS and PASI staff.
Ensures access isrestricted timely when notified of employee terminations.
Participates in thequarterly audit of users and assigned permissions/roles and coordinates reviewand approval by Chief Financial Officer of each local facility.
Ensures user access permissions are granted in accordance with CHS standards and that appropriatedocumentation is obtained and archived to support actions.
Investigate, researchand establish custom roles as needed to optimize use of Athena Collector,Communicator and Clinicals while ensuring appropriate security to maintain theintegrity of the system and master files.
Responds timely touser access issues requests.
Participates actively in the ongoing development of the implementationprocess and other client services.
Develops a close working relationship with client and others at Athena.

Education and/orExperience Preferred: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);3 years experience with insurance billing requirements and account follow-upprocedures including experience researching and resolving claims denied byinsurance carriers, and a generalunderstanding of ICD9 and CPT coding; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
LanguageSkills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions,short correspondence, and memos. Abilityto write simple correspondence. Abilityto effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
ReasoningAbility: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables instandardized situations.
