Community Health Systems Environmental Services Tech - FT - Days - Housekeeping in Ponca City, Oklahoma
Under supervision of a department Supervisor/Director, performs a variety of routine cleaning tasks requiring moderate to heavy physical effort. Maintains assigned work area and equipment in an orderly and sanitary condition at all times.
Follows and maintains documentation of duties performed daily. Follows Policies and Procedures for loading and stocking housekeeping cart. Maintains proper stock of supplies in areas assigned. Follows Policies and Procedures on room dismissal cleaning, office cleaning, bathroom cleaning, and other miscellaneous area cleaning. Has ability to read and understand MSDS sheets for all chemicals used. Must be able to pick up and properly dispose of trash and soiled linen. Must be able to perform minimal floor maintenance including dust mopping and wet mopping.
Must observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of AHPC. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and AHPC. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs.

Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
Experience:Must have effective oral/written communication skills. Possesses ability to maintain effective working relations with the public.
Skills:PC skills or applicable computer experience.
Licenses/Certifications:Valid Driver s License if needed
