Community Health Systems Manager- Medical Staff Credentials in Salem, New Jersey
Responsible for monitoring the verification process for medical staff incumbents. Must have knowledge of bylaws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures, Joint Commission Standards and other regulatory requirements related to the credentialing process. May complete administrative duties such as ensuring state medical licenses are up-to-date and checking the status on new license applications. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Proficient at using computer applications for physician credentialing and report writing Advanced writing skills. Ability to give instruction and clearly explain problems or solutions. Good organization, communication and time management skills. Leads and directs the work of others.
Experience required: 5 years of hospital or other health related medical staff services department and 3 years of progressive leadership experience. Must have experience with credentialing medical staff.
Education and Certifications: CPCS - Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist or CPMSM - Certified Professional Medical Services Management preferred. Bachelor s degree preferred
