Community Health Systems System Director of Imaging in Springdale, Arkansas

Northwest Health is currently seeking a leader that has the management capabilities to lead and drive our imaging services forward into the future. If you join our team in this role, you will report to our COO and have the opportunity to lead a team of 100 trained professionals who want to care for our patients in the best way possible.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for the direction and operational aspects of the Imaging Services available at our 5 hospitals, The Breast Center of Willow Creek Women's Hospital, and our outpatient services of AMI.
Ensures the timely, accurate and quality completion of all imaging studies.
Ensures department contributes to continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
Advocates for patient safety. Ensures the safety of clinical processes and demonstrates support of a culture of safety.
Ensures compliance with and that all legal, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements are met.
Provides oversight to all functional, clinical and programmatic services related to Imaging Services. Ensures the selection, retention and assignment of a competent workforce to ensure effective delivery of departmental services. Assesses competency of staff and provides ongoing internal training and education opportunities based on clinical need.
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in managing productivity standards. Continuously evaluates and assesses work process/design to enhance productivity and service delivery to meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.
Achieves exceptional patient satisfaction though staff engagement and commitment.
Prepares annual operational and capital budgets. Actively monitors budget performance and takes appropriate actions to meet budget targets.
Optimizes the use of supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring high level of clinical care. Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care or services delivered.
Demonstrates accountability for maintaining and monitoring utilization of department protocols, standards, policies, and practices.
Demonstrates personal responsibility for professional development. Actively promotes development of self and others through participation in professional organizations, educational opportunities, etc.
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in the field; 10 preferred
Strong technical understanding of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Strong management and business acumen within a competitive and regulated environment
Experience leading teams across multi-site facilities preferred
Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
Experience overseeing both Inpatient services and Outpatient Imaging Centers preferred
