Under the direction of the CEO, formulates, directs, and controls the hospital s recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and pension plan and employee safety activities. Maintains the hospital s current compensation and benefits databases and recommends appropriate institutional policy and policy changes with regard to them. Maintains current job classifications and appropriate pay range levels for the institution. Serves as resource in various cost containment activities and is an advocate for management s position on all labor relations matters. Serves as a consultant of the Executive staff and department managers in all employee relations matters. Serves as Human Resource Consultant to McKenzie-Willamette s affiliates, corporation, and businesses.
College degree in Business Administration or Human Resources highly preferred. Degree may be substituted with a minimum of two years business college or four or more years of Human Resources experience in a supervisory capacity.
