Administers the nursing program in a hospital or nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care; advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups.
Education: Required:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Preferred: Master's Degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Experience: Required:Five (5) years of previous management experience at a Manager level or higher.
Preferred: Experience in managing multiple areas andmanagers.

Licenses/Certifications Required: Current AZ RN license orcompact state license.
