Community Health Systems Director-ICU/CVICU-FT-Day Shifts in Vicksburg, Mississippi
The Director of Intensive and Critical Care Services provides overall management and strategic leadership of the ICU/CCU Nursing Services and affiliated service lines. Representing Intensive and Critical Care Services, the Director is responsible for patient safety, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with Intensive and Critical Care Services, budgetary duties and fiscal performance of the nursing unit(s), leadership of intensive and/or critical care team members, resource development and implementation of process changes and establishment, measurement, reporting and audit of Intensive and Critical Care Performance Metrics.
Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare administration is preferred.
Ten (10) years of critical and/or intensive care experience is strongly preferred. Progressive unit management experience is preferred.
Current Mississippi RN licensure is required. BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications are required. PALS certification is strongly preferred.
