Vista is interested in hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit who is looking to broaden his/her skills and gain valuable experience working in a community hospital that worked hard to achieve status as certified Centers of Excellence in numerous critical areas of patient care.
**Full Time Nights (12) 7am – 7pm, rotating weekends
You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education of assigned patients.
Administer urgent care to ill, injured or disabled patients
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Assess the psychological, social and emotional needs of patients family/significant others
Comply with CLIA Standards
Maintain accurate patient medical records

*Registered Nurse in Illinois
*BSN / MSN preferred
ACLS certification within 1 year
PALS certification within 1 year of hire
FEMA 100 & 200 certification w/in 90 days of employment
Travel to other Vista Health sites may be required
On-call & Call-in support is required (home dept. or other VHS locations)
